As one of Burleigh Heads’ only luxury accommodation providers, bon Sol is proud to offer a $200 voucher to Labart restaurant (minimum four-night stay), to experience one of Queensland’s most coveted restaurants. This is exclusively available to bon Sol guests to enjoy an unforgettable meal.

bon Sol’s space is designed by interiors expert Anna Spiro and inspired by the colours and textures of the ‘60s and ‘70s.  There’s also Moss River linen and beach towels, marble vanities in both bathrooms, fully-equipped kitchen and two bedrooms suitable to sleep four.

Guests can also enjoy some R&R and a dedicated property manager will prepare a chic Beach Club set up at the beach beside the property featuring kitsch umbrellas, lounges, and an esky with curated drinks.

bon Sol is in a central location in Burleigh Heads within walking distance of popular dining like Labart, shopping and pubs.

“My wife and I live on The Esplanade in Burleigh and for me, there’s nothing better than waking up to the sound of waves crashing and a short 30-second walk across the road to have my feet in the sand,” Alex Munoz Labart says. “Burleigh Heads is a pretty special place and I can’t think of a better area for visitors to base themselves when they holiday on the Gold Coast. We have more highly awarded restaurants in Burleigh than anywhere else on the Gold Coast so you can walk to lunch and dinner reservations rather than wasting money on Uber’s or taxi’s back and forth every day.”

About Labart

Labart is a new Australian restaurant situated in the beachside suburb of Burleigh Heads, QLD. The first restaurant by chef Alex Munoz Labart and wife Karla, Labart champions sustainability, seasonality and simplicity while hospitality remains paramount.

The eponymous restaurant is the product of a career-long ambition for the chef, having spent time in the kitchens at some of Sydney’s top restaurants including Marque and Est. Most recently, Alex held the position of Head Chef at Monopole, Potts Point and Head Chef at Cirrus Dining, Barangaroo. Both restaurants were awarded 2 Chef’s Hats by the Good Food Guide under his leadership.

The 55-seat restaurant houses an open kitchen with charcoal grill, while polished concrete floors, forest green walls and walnut tones offer a design motif that combines urban with organic. Tucked behind Burleigh Head’s bustling main street and away from the beach, Labart delivers warmth and conviviality in a relaxed environment.

Awards

Just weeks after opening, Labart was awarded ‘QLD’s Hottest Restaurant’ in The Australian’s 2018 Hot 50 Restaurants. This year, Labart was again included in The Australian’s 2019 Hot 50 Restaurants and was the only Gold Coast restaurant to make the list. The Courier Mail’s 2019 Food Awards saw Labart nominated in four categories including Restaurant of the Year, Regional Restaurant of the Year, Service of the Year and Chef of the Year for Alex Munoz Labart, with the team taking home Regional Restaurant of the Year.
